Anderson Announces Grant for Red Land High School

DILLSBURG – State Rep. Marc Anderson (R-Dillsburg) announced that Red Land High School received a $1 million grant through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) for an expansion and upgrade project at the campus that includes a dedicated sports stadium. 

“This funding will assist West Shore School District with improvements to Red Land High School, including the building of an on-site, multi-sport stadium for student athletes,” Anderson said. “I am pleased Red Land students will finally have a true home field.”

Currently, athletes on some of the school’s sports teams play home games at their district rivals Cedar Cliff High School, which is part of the West Shore School District. 

Specifically, the funding will be used to expand and upgrade campus facilities, improve overall site conditions, enhance access to events and construct new spaces to support student activities. The project includes a synthetic turf field, central athletic hub, new access improvements, tennis court improvements, and other related sitework and utility improvements. 

The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget that supports the design, acquisition and construction of projects with regional economic, civic, cultural, recreational or historical significance. RACP projects must demonstrate regional impact and require local investment.
